Shackled Lily Winsor #2

Of healing He had the secret to freedom if she would only trust him But when darkness and deceit surfaces their ability to choose may become nothing than an illusion Shackled Lily is the second book in the Winsor Series but can be read as a stand alone nov. Very good book of finding your worth in Christ And just getting away from the controlling people in your lifeBeing brave enough to trust in God to show you real love And trusting in Him to take care of you I thought it showed when your in a bad situation God was always there And He put the right people in Issy s life when she needed to get away And showing true freedom is in Christ And of course finding the love that was right in front of you

Issy finds multiply ways to self destruct and harden her heart from ever being hurt again He vowed to make her his Grant Forester wouldn’t give up on the woman he has loved for years He could see past the anger and bitterness to the wounded girl in need. Shackled Lily by T L Gray is the second book in the Windsor Series and I will say my favorite thus far I couldn t put this book down I truly enjoyed reading about Kaitlyn and her on going life along with her stupid selfish decisions As I read this book I see where I could have easily have made the same choices with her drinking habits boys and carelessness for everything around her Once again TL Gray does not sugar coat anything under age drinking nudity and inappropriate situations implied Yet while all of this depressing junk is happening there is a small light she has two Christian friends that attempt to help her and love her anyway Now the author does not confuse this with encouraging Kaitlyn but her friends are there for her when she needs them I can see how many people might not like this book because of it s truth and real life reality of young college students This stuff happens it s not a joke and TL Gray has a done a good job of portraying the reality and showing how people can change even in the worst situations While the ending seemed rather rushed this book is my favorite I personally like it so than Shattered Rose I recommend for older teens and adults I received this book from the author for free in exchange for an honest review

She vowed never to love One would hardly see a three story mansion unlimited bank account and high end clothes as a prison But to Kaitlyn “Issy” Summers her family’s opulence only represents pain betrayal and fear To deal with her heartbreaking past. I enjoyed the second in the Winsor series than the first That is possibly due to me going into this one knowing what the story would be likemain character not knowing the love of Christ and living life dangerouslyIssy is afraid to love and to avoid any meaningful relationships she treats everyone except her cousin Jake without care or concern Issy was one of the main characters in book one and I looked forward to her story Wow It blew me away It came across as very authentic At times it was suspenseful Main character Grant was amazing The only things I struggled with was Issy s dad having inconsistent behavior and the ending wrapped up a tad to uickly for meOverall a great story of redemptionAs I mentioned with book one in the series this is not sueaky clean CF The writing is great and the story engaging Life can be messy and this book is definitely an example of thatNote the cover of the Kindle version I read is not available on Goodreads

Well nowI will say first and foremost this is a tragic story in a lot of ways but beautiful I don't want to give anything away but I loved Grant and Issy and then that the history and love between them I was a little shocked by how everything turned out and how everything unraveled I'm looking forward to Jake's story though mostly cause I've been worried about him since shattered rose
