A little slower than I likeWhile this is written in the 1700's and behavior even between a man and wife is slow not necessarily honest even when it comes to pregnancy it becomes obnoxiousUnderwood and Verity started their marriage off with idiotic game playing which I blame wholly on VerityThe mystery was great though That said I am off to the next book in this series
