This was my third book for the 24 hour read a thon on Sunday I read it straight on the heels of A Friend for Grace and found the start to be incredibly jarring view spoilerAt the end of book 2 Beth and Tom had been looking at Grace but hadn t decided whether to take her yet But then at the start of book 3 suddenly she s in a boat on the river with Tom and Beth being rowed across to her new home The book THEN backtracks a little to explain what happens but I didn t really like how it was done Not enough seemed to be said it was as though a whole chapter had just been left out hide spoiler
