P doesn’t seem to exist But the trail of clues is too strange to ignore and she finds herself caught in the investigationWerewolf Alpha Rylie Gresham is absorbed in troubles of her own The pack is disobeying her and the cult camped out in Northgate seems to be the source of the problem H. This series still might save itselfThis book 5 still suffers from the same problems the other books did even though the author tries to address them The book is mostly about Elise which is good She s the strength of the world Elise still suffers the near death wound and weakness she does in ever book She talks about feeding and never looks strong Yeah she rules hell but there seems to be many demons far stronger than she is It s book 5 and I m wondering when Elise will get tough Rylie and the werewolves are part of this book and I just can t make myself care Rylie has grown into a weak character that s not entertaining The werewolves themselves aren t very entertaining This brand of lycanthropy is lazy They are just people that change into wolves except for Abel Even Rylie is just a girl with a couple of wolf urges every now and then If you ve read other werewolf books you have some expectations on what a wolf pack is like There is none of that here I can t even fault the bad guysDespite all the annoying page skipping content there is some really good stuff Elise makes progress with magic She and James make progress The overall story starts slow but ends strong Most of my reviews are either 3 or 4 for the series but I m still sticking around

Summary Lost in Prophecy

Er mate Abel has resolved to fix it one way or another even if it means going over Rylie’s head and killing their enemiesThrough secrets lies and assassination attempts Elise and Rylie find that they have a new enemy in common And what it takes to prevail might mean shattering the univer. With each book puzzle pieces come together yet oh wow you have another tray of pieces you didn t know about that need to be added so you can see the whole picturesurprise This is what I really love about Reine s writing She has a way of adding surprises as she ties up other storylines I ould really hate to see what her outline of the story looked like with all the lines that alone would look like Christmas lights that you have to untangleI think what I enjoy most is how she makes her characters so very real Even though they have all these powers and can do so much they still have weaknesses Yes Elise has a lot of power but some of those demons are very old and the older they are the powerful they are Elise is still learning what she can even doOnce again I lost sleep reading this book and had a difficult time putting it down I did not rest much between each book it was really one great big one so makes it fun to try to do the critiues so just know each has their own surprises
