Y he may have to go to war against his own people and himself Scarcity is book 3 of the popular Jack Randall series You can continue to follow Jack and his team in TIME a collection of short stories following each of the main characters in the first three books Look for Security book 4 of the series scheduled for publication in October of 201. This is the third in the Jack Randall series but is very different in many ways in the prior adventures we get to meet Jack and his entire team as they work to solve the issues at hand In this book Jack barely makes an appearance in the first 75% of the book and his other team members are nowhere to be seen In many ways this book should be described as set in the Jack Randall universe rather than Jack Randall 3In some ways this book also contains brutality than the prior two Key themes are kidnapping and the illegal trade in human organsI would also recommend the manuscript be re edited There are many grammatical mistakes As one example the word then is repeatedly used where the correct word to use is thanI hope Jack makes of an appearance in book 4 This book was like a James Bond novel without James BondIt was an enjoyable enough read but not worth than 3 out of 5

This BookHaving read the first two books and enjoyed them I found this one very hard to get into the story lineit seemed to jump around from story line to story line not giving you enough time to understand them then all of a sudden they came together and I'm glad I stayed with it towards the end of the book it seemed to get a little disjointed again but all in all I'm glad I stuck with it
