    This is a book that can not stand on its own Most of it is a parallel story to Crashlander but toward the end it moves on to parallel The Soft Weapon and then to act as a seuel to Fleet of Worlds The result is Frankenstein like construct that technically holds together but doesn't say much on its own and is entirely dependent on both Crashl
