    Seriously I really wanted to like this story but I hard a really hard time of it The story overall was not bad but some of the bigger plot points could have been flushed out The writing was bad I just wished it had a better development And the twist at the endwas weird

For Lilly Peach staying alive means keeping a low profile blending in not being noticed When she fears having been found by those contracted to kill her Lilly is sent to a new safe house in Legend Tennessee The pristine old fashioned streets and genteel s What a wonderful phrase She would get to this oasis in the belly of the south And this book is full of them The writing is alive and Ms Eaves characters almost jump off the page Ms Eaves captures her readers from her opening line and then drops in one mystery after another Why Who How and what They re all there and captivate the reader immediately I mean what on earth happened that Lilly Peach had to run from those she lovedJim Hood had a dream and this year it was within his grasp and he d let nothing get in its way Or so he thought until Lilly Peach arrived in Legend When things come to a crunch he finds his choice is no choice at all Ms Eaves offers an action packed story form the first page to the last that is beautifully balanced with the emotional impact of every event The pace set by the author makes this a difficult book to review simply because the reader falls headlong into the story and is rooting for the characters all the way I sometimes forgot I wasn t simply reading for pure enjoyment Her characters main and secondary all have a part and play their part to the hilt You can t help but fall in love with all of them even Mrs Hertz Well perhaps there are few you can t love but their presence is eually pivotal and all encompassing and real The story swings from highs to lows in a heartbeat from joy to sorrow and back to hope taking the reader every inch of the way Here is a story about love and loyalty family and betrayal all of which are skilfully woven together and makes Claiming the Legend a keeper you will want to read often originally posted at
