    I'm not much of Daniel Silva fan and picked this one up after reading the reviews It was tough dropping into the story but once the conflict was set it really took off I'm going to go back and read the others now Maybe they are constructed the same way I really enjoyed the main character and the new secondary character who played the Black W

    I’ve been rereading the Gabriel Allon novels this summer and while I still find the early installments entertaining it’s been interesting to see how much Silva has grown as a writer The Black Widow is his best yet—which is bittersweet since it seems that Allon really is about to assume a less active role
