    I found it interesting that this apocalypse is started by an out of control growth hormone in potatoes something that people do have concerns about these days It was an interesting way to start the book with the hormone first causing serious birth defects and then mass deaths Naturally this hormone is corrupted by a bunch

    I'm afraid I won't be continuing this series While it is surprising to say about a zombie apocalypse book it was boring There were way too many characters doing way too many things but mostly talking so action was few and far between We learn very little about the zombies and their behavior and that is what a good zombie series starter should be about I'm just not interested enough to continue
